I think... (#109972)

You could make a solid case that Constitutional Law Professor + State Senator for 8 years + US Senator for 4 years is superior preparation for being President than Failed Oil Man + Owning a Baseball Club + Holding a constitutionally weak Governorship for 6 years.

and fellow faculty is telling, IMHO. It is hard to be a god teacher.

any fool can set up their shingle and start raking it in. Best of all, no formal qualifications are required beyond having a talent for self promotion and the Gift of the Gab.

A good teacher on the other hand...

Effective message, crappy production. Who did the graphics, somebody's kid nephew? Also, still too long at 58 seconds, everyone's gonna tune that out esp since it's not particularly grabbing.

Also, in general, if McCain could produce an ad that had, you know, McCain in it it might create some possibility of him actually being elected.

Both other ads on the board today, IMHO. To the point, artful lifting of quotes and hits McCain really hard on a traditional republican strength, the regular guy thing.

and referencing Bird's Youtube contribution, I would prefer to see as Commander in Chief someone who regarded themselves as the civilian head of the Executive 1st and not as some armchair general begrudging every minute spent on small beer issues like the economy as time not spent in the White House situation room bunker.

really? (#109903)

First, writing a diary specifically to reject another diary is de facto admission of defeat.

Second, Obama has more experience than a majority of the heads on Mt. Rushmore. Do you really want to play this game?

Just providing balance. If I wanted to get into the substance and breadth of Obama's inexperience, Baseball Crank already did a pretty good job of it. The real point of this post isn't about the YouTube anyway, it's about my scintillating and insightful commentary!

Uhm, Okay (#109962)

So it works like this. One guy hasn't learned enough in a short time. The other guy has learned nothing over a lifetime.

Go ahead. You pick first.

rushing the Curly & Moe crisis team to shore up the Georgian President's spectacular and ongoing failure would you suppose places McCain's breadth of 'experience' in its best light?

Oh I dunno, Mac's done a fine job with his Neo Con diary. (#109918)
by BlaiseP

Put things back on track. Now I'm obliged to write something of substance, and grant him a few of his assertions. See, it's hard to contradict someone in a few dozen words, it all ends up as simplistic blather, but a good rebuttal diary is much more effective.

Agreed! (#109921)

Tho' Mac's diary seemed more like a very civilized attempt to clarify terms. Which was genuinely helpful.

Other than a sitting President or former VP, no one can say they have relevanty experience. You have to look at the judgment.
