I'm shocked at the number of hostile, distrustful and disrespectful posts that have been directed to our volunteer moderators and volunteer technical advisors.
These volunteers have busy lives (most have school-age children at home, to boot) and yet they've willingly sacrificed their time so that we could have an new Internet forum to enjoy. It's not hard to disagree with them in a rational, polite and constructive way. So why have I seen so many harshly worded statements and accusations made to our volunteers over the past month?
Chances are if you don't really trust the people here, you don't really like them, either. If I didn't have faith in the good character, truthfulness and honorable intentions of the rest of you, I sure wouldn't be here.
If you don't feel the same way about your fellow posters and the volunteers that do the hard work to keep the site up and running, then I wonder: Why you are here?
