Return Of The Formidable Forvm!
*Commissioner M. Scott Eiland ascends to the podium*
We are once again approaching that blessed time when millions of people waste tens of millions of hours of productivity in guessing what men's college basketball teams will do in the upcoming event known fondly as March Madness. While many will engage in this activity with some amount of money at stake, we in the Formidable Forvm League will be doing it solely for bragging rights, with the prospect of extreme ridicule should our prognostication be less than stellar--who's up for it? ]:-)
Instructions: Start here. Follow the link marked "Join Group." Once there, hit the yellow button labeled "Join Group." Group ID # is 56502, password is "tacitus." Deadline for getting brackets finalized is early morning EDT on March 20th, just before the first game starts. Good luck!

In keeping with my recent comments on another subject that is really making God mad, anyone who believes the WSU Cougars cannot beat George Mason or Notre Dame is suffering from unconscious racism. And maybe scabies.
That is all.

)No problem, man.
Make sure you're signed into Yahoo. Follow the first link in the diary. You should see a tab marked "My Brackets," and under it a line of column headers in black type. Under the one marked "Bracket" you should see your team name as a blue link, and indented under it the name of the group as another link. The top one is where you access your bracket--the bottom one will let you check on the rest of us when the brackets are final.
Let me know if you have any more trouble.

Tournament Pick-em (see the first link in the diary) that shows the current breakdown of picks for each round so far, which will update all the way to the time the brackets are locked at tip-off Thursday morning. As of 3:20 PDT Tuesday, here are the teams that 1% or more of the participants pick to win it all:
1 North Carolina (1) 38.2
--2 UCLA (1) 19.0
3 Kansas (1) 12.7
4 Memphis (1) 9.8
5 Texas (2) 3.5
6 Tennessee (2) 3.3
7 Georgetown (2) 3.3
8 Duke (2) 3.1
9 Wisconsin (3) 1.1
10 Pittsburgh (4) 1.0

Are they in the tourney this year? Meanwhile, I got locked out of the site. Got to try to sneak back in.

Should be fun, thanks for setting it up.
Edit: wait, the disaster was 2006. I guess it was so devastating that I didn't even try last year :-/
