Will Obama support "my guy Joe", when he runs for reelection? You betcha!

I can't think of any democrat who is more despised by the left, than "my guy Joe". Notwithstanding, who has the Obama Admin turned to as a wingman (left wing, to be accurate? If you answered, my guy Joseph Lieberman, you are spot on. Time describes the situation as follows:

A new report Contributions of Stratospheric Water Vapor to Decadal Changes in the Rate of Global Warming raises new questions on the current climate models. That is, IPCC's carbon dioxide centric climate models probably need some work.

How about a gala-event on the Capital Steps with Thune or Brown presenting the "GOP's Big Five" with Congressional conservatives standing behind them. That's right, if any "blue dog" Congress critter would like to join them, they would be welcome; it should be a post-partisan event.

While I have some recommendations on what the "GOP's Big Five" should cover (see below), the critical aspect is to make sure that KISS is applied. That is, keep it so simple that even the main stream (the "ELITE") media can't distort it. One page bills, where applicable, are recommended.

Big Five

The Ungrateful and The Unwashed

It just doesn't get any better than this, as Joe Klein calls Americans stupid; that is, the Americans who disagree with him.

It is very difficult to have a democracy without citizens.

It is impossible to be a citizen if you don't make an effort to understand the most basic activities of your government.

It is very difficult to thrive in an increasingly competitive world if you're a nation of dodos.

The Bruins are struggling and the Sox will rely on pitching and defense in the upcoming season. But the contact sport playing out in the Commonwealth may very well mirror the 2004 ACLS where the underdog ended a long standing curse.

There ain't nothing like it, a boy and his

dog. And although it has been told many times, it is a simple story about a "wonder dog" and a young boy. It doesn't get much better than that!

Well I haven't read it, but Stanely paints a compelling picture

S. Fish paints an interesting picture of a politician who is rising.

Stanley, who isn't a fan, notes the following:

I find the voice undeniably authentic

A politician with an authentic voice, well that is refreshing. The individual must reside in a different land.

An Interesting Pathway

In March of this year Lawcom notes

More than a dozen new Justice Department lawyers have come from private firms representing Guantanamo Bay detainees, creating potential conflicts of interest as the agency begins its review of roughly 245 men imprisoned at the military detention center.

Upon reflection, maybe he wasn't such a bad guy

I'm not at all familar with "Hillbuzz" but it appears, given the title of the blog, that it would generally lean democrat when politics are discussed. After a few "mea culpas" and a "mea maxima culpa", they noted the following

As we will always be grateful for what George and Laura Bush did this week, with no media attention, when they very quietly went to Ft. Hood and met personally with the families of the victims of this terrorist attack.

A Winning Strategy?

Roll Call has an article on the 2010 midterm elections. Apparently, the WH wants to nationalize the effort. Axelrod, a senior WH adviser, noted on NBC's "First Read", that the WH is going to use the GOP 2002 election effort as a "blue print".

I can only hope. The WH will not change the strategy, as it appears to be a winner.
