In response to positions taken over at the Canon DSLR Challenges on my new Galleries, AND a new Gallery....See Below:

Regarding the galleries and how they are negotiated...I am of two minds, on the one hand I want to understand what people are saying, on the other however, there is something inside of me saying....I don't care.

Maybe I need to leave instructions better...but click on image for full screen and then back space to the original journal format does not, at this moment, to me, seem too onerous.

....I was really moved by Zelig's recounting of his heart procedure....at least in no small part because it was so damn well written.

I was there with him.

There's always a little blues after big time stuff...so, while hardly complete, and I'm setting out in a whole new direction and means of displaying my pictures....even though they are not ready and you may see them again when they are more complete...for Zelig, I'll post what I have now.

But remember, with 2,000 pictures taken, this 30 or so picture run is only a start...and the jungle stuff will come later.

I missed the College Games today...I should have been working...but I had the opportunity to photograph WWII Poster Art....I should be working now instead of playing around with this....

But this seems important, a clear window into another time...I step back and wonder and marvel at...what I vaguely remember myself.

People today, the emotional distance from there, within my lifetime is...staggering.

Look upon this work and Tremble and Admire them for....just surviving.

God we are so spoiled and whiny.

Heck, I thought some semblance of truth was at one time a Republican virtue.

I don't really expect anyone to be as upset by the sight of real Russian Tanks on the Move to crush Georgian Troops, but the blood does rise, the muscles tighten...give me an anti-tank rocket and a clear field of fire....!

Prague, the Prague Spring that was bringing liberal humanism to the crushed spirit of the peoples of Eastern Europe, throwing off the boot of the Russian on the neck of the people....to arms, to arms...to the barricades, let this not be a bloody repeat of the crushing of the Hungarians in Budapest by the Russian Monster!

Be that as it may, the current Canon DSLR Challenge is...No post processing, no cropping, no Sharpening, no nada, just the image straight out of the camera.

Kind of everyone's nightmare....with lots of sensitivity on the issue, especially here where we are...attuned and maybe past abused by....false elections...this may sting.

May I ask what happened after the 9PM closing of the polls where there was Tom and a three way tie between Scott, Jordan and Wagster?

Did someone just out-and-out steal this election?
